Here is Ramadi

It has been a very long time since I have posted anything on this website. I know that you are all wondering what I am doing. Well I am busy. My job is simple. I coordinate with all sorts of other units like Civil Affairs and try to improve the city of Ramadi for the local nationals here. It is really an enjoyable job. I have helped supply water and medical supplies to locals and we have all sorts of other plans in the works. It is really amazing to work with the local nationals here. The city is predominantly Sunni which historically is no the most pro American. 90% of the local population has never passed high school. They are poor and uneducated. It is really quite sad. As a result, the city is dilapidated with old buildings and crumbling infrastructure. I would like to think that I am making a difference around here. I think that we all are making an impact. One house at a time and one child at a time we are helping the people of Iraq keep their country.
We have had a chance to work with the Iraqi Army and Iraqi Police too. They are certainly brave. Many of them wear masks because they know that if their identity were to be known by the terrorists, they or their families’ lives would be in danger.
Well so you know, I am safe and well. God helps me every day. Keep praying for me.
